NATIONAL SPEED AWARENESS: TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Payment for the course must be made at the time of booking. If payment is rejected during the booking of the course the chosen course date will be withdrawn. If payment is rejected after the course has been attended points prosecution may still apply.
- Payment by installments is not possible. We do not accept post-dated cheques.
- Payment for the National Speed Awareness Course is non refundable.
- The course must be completed within four months of the offence date and you will not be able to book a course after this time. If you do not book a course within the timescale provided by Leicestershire Constabulary, the offer of a Driver Education Workshop will be withdrawn.
- A National Speed Awareness Course can only be attended once within a three year period.
- You must arrive on time for your course. Late arrivals may be refused entry and, unless under exceptional circumstances, have their file returned to Leicestershire Constabulary for prosecution.
- Participants must produce their Driving Licence at the start of the course. If you do not hold a photocard licence then another form of photographic identification will be required. Failing to show proof may result in admittance being refused.
- If you fail to attend your given date and there are no exceptional circumstances, i.e. bereavement or medical emergencies your file will be returned to Leicestershire Constabulary for prosecution.
- Any abusive or disruptive behaviour will result in ejection from the course and your file being returned to Leicestershire Constabulary for prosecution.
